Loyola ITI organized a financial literacy session led by Dr. Augustine Joseph and Ms. Kshama from Christ University. During the session, they educated students on the importance of saving money, making smart investments, and managing daily expenses effectively. They also introduced concepts of trading and marketing, explained the risks involved in financial decisions, and provided information on various government loan schemes available for starting a business. The resource persons further guided students on budget planning, basic banking procedures, and the importance of saving money regularly. They highlighted the need to avoid unnecessary debt and to use digital payment platforms safely and responsibly. Students also learned about entrepreneurial opportunities, basic taxation, and the role of financial discipline in achieving long-term goals. The session proved highly informative, equipping students with practical knowledge to make informed and responsible financial decisions.
