Anti-Tobacco awareness program
On 31st May 2024, an Anti-Tobacco Awareness Program was held in the Loyola ITI campus, organized by the Ranichennamma team with guidance from C. K. Baba, IPS Deputy Commissioner of Police, South East Division, Bangalore. The main aim of the program was to educate the public about the dangers of tobacco use and to encourage people to quit smoking.
The session mainly focused on critical topic Tobacco, dangers of tobacco and diseases caused by the use of Tobacco such as cancer, heart disease, and respiratory issues.
The session also focused on the topics harmful effects of drug use and addiction, Awareness about Kidnapping, impact of alcohol, POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) act and the
punishment for various offenses. Chief Guest shared her experiences and motivated the students to quit Tobacco and cultivate good habits. The event concluded with a vote of thanks extending our gratitude to the Ranichennamma team.
