Ayudha Pooja Celebration
The Ayudha Pooja celebration at Loyola ITI was held with great devotion and excitement. The event was attended by the Chief Guest, Mr. Suresh Kumar, an esteemed industrialist.
The celebration began with the traditional worship of tools and equipment used in automobile, electronics, and mechanical workshops. The tools were cleaned, decorated with flowers, and prayers were offered to show respect for their importance in our daily work.
In his speech, the Chief Guest, Mr. Suresh Kumar, talked about the importance of Ayudha Pooja in the professional world. He explained that the festival teaches us to respect the tools that help us in our jobs. He encouraged the students to be disciplined and to take good care of the tools they use.
Fr. Denzil Lobo, SJ, the Director of Loyola ITI, also spoke during the event. He explained the cultural and spiritual meaning of the festival and encouraged students to see their work as a form of worship. He reminded them to stay focused on learning and growing in their skills.
The celebration also included cultural performances like traditional dances, songs, and a mime act showing the importance of tools in daily life. These performances added fun and joy to the event, bringing everyone together. The event ended with the distribution of sweets.
