Digital Well Being
The ‘Digital Well-being’, awareness program took place on 17th January 2023, organized by
Loyola ITI in collaboration with Vidya. Ms. Sahana D, a psychologist
from Aditya Birla Education Trust at Srinivas University, served as the resource person.Her speech covered various vital topics related to
digital well-being, including physical and mental health maintenance, emotional management, stress management, substance use disorders, and
understanding symptoms of depression and anxiety. The sessions mainly focused on digital addictions, challenges posed by digital lifestyles,
digital detox, digital well-being, practices to calm the mind, identifying threats to well-being, and investing in mental health. Fr. Denzil
Lobo, the Director of Loyola ITI, addressed the gathering. He encouraged students to set goals and work hard to achieve them. He also emphasized
the importance of maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle in an increasingly digitalized world. All staff and students appreciated the
collaborative efforts of Aditya Birla Education Trust in creating a healthier community through this awareness program.
