Industrial Visit To Bijapur

As per the curriculum a study tour was organized to Vijayapuraby LoyolaITI.On 26th January2023 at 6pm, 90 students along with the 9staff membersstarted their Industrial visit to Bijapur with an aim to know the dynamics and functioning of industries in detail. During the visit the students also had the exposure to various historical places.

On day 1:Students visited Golgumbaz,the most famous monument in Bijapur. The green lawn,inscriptions on the wall,beauty of the tomb made the students to enjoy and spend more time at the Golgumbaz.Then they visited BaraKaman,Jama Masjid, Loyola ITI, Shivagiri temple and Alamatti Dam hydroelectric project on the Krishna River.

On day 2:Students stepped their journeytowards the sugar industry EID Parry India Pvt Ltd.This field trip provided the students a real-world experience.They got the knowledge of sugar production,sugar manufacturing process, supply and distribution process. Then they continued their journey and reached Badami, Aihole and pattadakallu the cave temples,which depicted the legends of chalukya empire.

The staff and students returned and reached back toBangalore on 28th January at 6 pm.It was a well-organized trip and was enriching one.All staff and students had a memorable and wonderful experience.
