SKIP and Voltas Visit to Loyola ITI

On November 20, 2024, Loyola ITI welcomed Mr. Stanley, the General Secretary of SKIP (Skills for Progress), along with a representative from Voltas, to the campus. This visit aimed to explore potential collaborations between Loyola ITI, SKIP, Voltas, and other industry partners to enhance the educational and career opportunities for students.

Mr. Stanley, General Secretary of SKIP (Skills for Progress), Representative from Voltas, Fr. Denzil Lobo, Director of Loyola ITI, Mrs. Mary Veronika, Principal of Loyola ITI, Mrs. Devika from Vidya, Representatives from Ghousia ITI and Ayyappan ITI were present during the meeting.

During the meeting, Mr. Stanley and the Voltas representative expressed a strong interest in partnering with Loyola ITI for factory visits and OJT programs. They also discussed about inviting industry professionals to conduct guest lectures workshops, helping students learn about the latest industry trends. Representatives from Ghousia ITI and Ayyappan ITI shared their experiences and highlighted the benefits of working together.

The visit was an important step in building a stronger connection between Loyola ITI and industry leaders, providing more chances for student growth and job opportunities.
