Visit To Firestation

On 3rd of January Loyola Industrial Training Institute in collaboration with Bright Future Academy organized a visit to the Hulimavu Fire Station for 40 students. The purpose of the visit was to provide students with practical insights into the operations of a fire station and to raise awareness about fire safety measures. The students received a comprehensive explanation of the different types of firefighting equipment used by firefighters. They were also given the opportunity to handle some of the equipment under the guidance of the firefighters. A highlight of the visit was the demonstration of firefighting techniques. The firefighters conducted a live demonstration showcasing various firefighting techniques, including how to extinguish fires safely. One notable demonstration involved simulating a fire on a cylinder. The visit helped students to foster awareness and preparedness for fire emergencies.
