WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

On June 5th, 2024, Loyola ITI celebrated World Environment Day in its campus, under the coordination of Mr. Vinod. Dr. A. Sha Arun, the Director of Research and Veterinary Operations at Wildlife SOS, was invited as the chief guest. The program started with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.

As part of the celebration, Loyola ITI students took the initiative to establish a herbal garden on campus. They planted various herbal and medicinal saplings such as Tulsi, Ashwagandha, Brahmi, among others. The inauguration of the garden was carried out by Dr. A. Sha Arun and Fr. Denzil Lobo S.J., the Director of Loyola ITI.

In his motivational speech, Dr. Arun explained on the theme of land restoration and desertification. Fr. Denzil Lobo S.J. addressed the gathering, highlighting current environmental issues and motivated everyone to take social responsibility for caring for Mother Earth and bring positive changes in them.
