On 1st October 2026, a group of 30 students and staff members from Loyola Industrial Training Institute, Bengaluru, made an educational and visit to the Bear Rescue Centre at Bannerghatta National Park. During the visit, they learned how rescued bears are cared for, protected, and brought back to health in a safe environment. To support the centre, the institute and its students donated basic food items like ragi and jowar flour, eggs, honey, peanuts, and peanut butter, which are used for the bears' daily porridge and health needs.
