Students from Loyola ITI visited the Bannerghatta Bear Rescue Centre on 19th January 2026 at Bannerghatta National Park from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A total of 33 participants, including 28 students and 5 staff members, actively took part in the program. The visit provided participants with an opportunity to experience the joy of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. As part of their contribution, the participants donated essential food items such as honey, ragi, jaggery, peanut butter, and eggs for the rescued animals. During the program, Wildlife SOS educated the participants about the conservation of sloth bears and elephants and emphasized the importance of wildlife protection. Participants attended an orientation session on wildlife conservation and bear care, followed by a guided visit to the Bear Rescue Centre. They observed the rescued bears' feeding habits, behaviour, and interaction in their natural environment and learned about bear biology and rehabilitation practices. The activity provided meaningful experiential learning, strengthened community engagement, and inspired participants to take responsibility for wildlife conservation in the future.
