Loyola Industrial Training Institute (Loyola ITI), Bengaluru, in collaboration with the Bengaluru City Police, organized a POCSO Act and Law Awareness Program on 24 July 2026. The program was conducted by the Rani Chennamma Team under the guidance of Mr. Narayan M., IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Electronic City Division, Bengaluru. The resource persons explained the POCSO Act, 2012, legal rights, personal safety, and the importance of reporting abuse and harassment. They also informed students about emergency helplines such as Child Helpline 1098 and the National Emergency Helpline 112. The session created awareness about child protection, the difference between good touch and bad touch, online safety, and the need to report unsafe situations to trusted adults or the police. Students actively participated in the program and gained valuable knowledge about their rights and personal safety.
