On 10th February 2025 Loyola ITI organized a Law Awareness Session in collaboration with the South Division Police, Bengaluru under the guidance of Sara Fathima IPS Deputy commissioner of police south division Bengaluru. The session was conducted by the nine-member Rani Chennamma Team, aiming to educate students and staff about critical legal issues and safety measures. The session covered essential topics, including emergency police contacts, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, cybercrime awareness, and the dangers of nicotine and drug abuse. The team provided the valuable information on the importance of staying vigilant and informed about legal rights and responsibilities. The team also shared real-life examples to help students understand the consequences of cybercrime and substance abuse. The awareness session was informative and engaging, equipping students with the knowledge needed to navigate challenges related to safety, law, and cyber threats. Loyola ITI extends its gratitude to the South Division Police and the Rani Chennamma Team for their valuable contribution to educating the youth about legal awareness.
