Loyola ITI's Participation in the Engineering Fair 2025

April 25, 2025

Loyola Industrial Training Institute (ITI) participated in the Engineering Fair 2025 organised at Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, where four of our trainees presented two innovative projects: the Urban Wind Catcher and Gravitech. The Urban Wind Catcher is designed to harness wind energy produced by moving vehicles, converting it into electricity. This project aims to utilize the wind generated by traffic in urban areas as a renewable energy source.Gravitech focuses on generating power using gravitational force. This project finds new ways to make electricity. At the fair, they competed against four other ITIs with a total of 49 projects. They gained experience in presenting and exhibiting their work. They also attended a seminar and quiz, which improved their technical knowledge. The Engineering Fair 2025 was a significant learning opportunity for Loyola ITI students for their continuous improvement. This platform allowed trainees to exhibit their technical and innovative ideas.
