A session on psychosocial competency was conducted on 25th February 2026 by Ms. Athira P. V., Psychiatric Social Worker at the Community Mental Health Unit, National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences. The session was attended by NIMHANS internship students and the automobile students of Loyola Industrial Training Institute. The session helped students understand the importance of mental health and emotional well-being. Ms. Athira spoke about building self-confidence, thinking positively, and communicating well with others. She also shared simple ways to manage stress and handle problems in daily life. The students actively participated and learned useful life skills that will help them stay calm, make better decisions, and face challenges with confidence
